As the founding member of the Custom Power Generation team, Bryan has been passionately involved in all aspects of the company's development since inception. His Senior Leadership roles in both Sales and Management span over 20 years in the power-gen industry, with an unrivalled passion for all things power. His incredible team can count on at least one work-related text from Bryan on the weekends, and they somehow find a way in their hearts to forgive him. He truly believes that people and culture are what make a great company! Bryan holds a Interprovincial Journeyman Parts Technician Certificate and has completed the Electrical Theory Trades Certification program at Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT).
When Bryan isn't thinking about power generation, you can find him training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, camping, mountain biking, or fly-fishing with his wife and two sons. His inner artisan shines brightest when he's creating home-made soaps, hand-tied fishing flies, or the absolute craftiest of craft home- brews.

Cathy Guo, CPA, CGA
Financial Controller
Cathy joined Custom Power Generation as a financial controller in 2022 and can be found working out of our office in Calgary, Alberta. Cathy is a Charted Professional Accountant (CPA, CGA) with more than 17 years of experience working in the manufacturing, technology, and oil & gas service industry.
Cathy looks after all aspects on the accounting side of CPG. She provides support and information to the senior management team; oversees financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, internal controls, risk management, and cash flow. Cathy also holds a bachelor's degree in Commerce from Concordia University.
Cathy spends most of her leisure time indulging in outdoor activities, such as hiking, fishing, and travelling with her family. She also enjoys singing, dancing, and gardening.

Vanessa Zhang, CPA, CGA
Financial Controller
Vanessa joined Custom Power Generation as a financial controller in 2018 and can be found working out of our office in Acheson, Alberta. Vanessa is a Charted Professional Accountant (CPA, CGA) with more than 13 years of experience working in the manufacturing, service, and hospitality industry. Vanessa looks after all aspects on the accounting side of CPG. She provides support and information to the senior management team; oversees forecasting, budgeting, internal controls, risk management, and cash flow. Vanessa also holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Upper Iowa University.
As a busy mom with two young boys, Vanessa spends most of her leisure time indulging in outdoor activities, such as hiking, fishing, biking, and skiing with her family. She also enjoys being a hockey mom and cheering for her two little hockey stars at every game.

Brent Gibbs
Business Development Manager - BC
Brent is an electrical and industrial sales professional with over 25 years of experience serving customers from many industries right across Western Canada. For much of that time, he has been involved with power generation. He holds a diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology from Saskatchewan Polytechnic in Moose Jaw. As Business Development Manager for the Coquitlam branch, Brent assists customers across British Columbia and Canada’s North.
When not at work, Brent enjoys travel and opportunities to get to know new people and cultures through their food and drink. Closer to home, he is an avid snowboarder and fly fisher and a rabid dirt biker who loves being humbled by the amazing trail networks in the lower mainland and the Rockies. He is still a Prairie farm kid at heart though and will always be awed by the natural beauty of his new home on the West Coast.

Angelo Petovello
Business Development Manager - BC
Angelo has been in the power industry for 25 years and has held many roles during this time. He is currently a Business Development Manager based out of the Coquitlam, BC office. Angelo holds a ticket in Industrial and Equipment Parts and has a diploma in Business Management. A variety of roles, including parts sales, product support and customer account manager, provided a wealth of experience that bridged Angelo's involvement in exciting projects, including standby generators and custom power packages distributed within B.C. and across Northern Canada.
Angelo enjoys riding his motorcycle on long trips around North America or dirt biking in the impressive mountains around Chilliwack B.C. during his free time.

Abby is responsible for Power Generation Project Sales and has been involved in the power-generation industry for 10+ years, which is very impressive for a 23-year-old. Abby resides in Okotoks and works in the glorious city of Calgary, AB, but her projects have spanned throughout Canada and the United States. She is PMP certified and has her B.A. from the University of Lethbridge. Abby's skill set includes project management, sales, and large-scale project execution. In her personal life, Abby is a wife and a mom of 2. She is active in volleyball and, as she ages, has also taken up pickleball. Abby is also incredibly competitive in cards and has a solid crazy eight strategy that ensures she never loses.

Omar Sheikh is our Business Development Manager in Ontario and has over 17+ of power generation experience over a wide variety of industries including Water Facilities, Data Centres and Healthcare amongst others. Omar enjoys designing power generation solutions from the ground up and his strong electrical and information technology background is well received by those he works with. Omar’s industry experience and involvement in projects of all complexities has prepared him well for any situation he may encounter especially those with tough design requirements. Over the years, he has become a trusted resource for many consultants and contractors.
When’s Omar’s not at work, he is normally found hiking the trails near his home with his family (camera in hand), indulging in his serious BBQ endeavours or knee deep in some side project involving IT, electronics or photography. Omar also enjoys working on his own cars and is a serious amateur photographer with a small fortune invested in professional gear.
His images have been displayed and sold by art galleries and he teaches the occasional workshop on technical photography to camera clubs across the GTA. Throughout the year, Omar also volunteers with Scouts Canada and enjoys leading kids on their camping adventures and weekly meetings.

Adam Fonseca
Product Support Representative - Alberta
Adam began his power generation career in 2012 at a mid-sized power generation company. After a short stint in industrial hydraulics & control systems, he joined Custom Power Generation. Years of multifaceted experience have helped him build long-standing & healthy relationships with many local & international companies across several industries.
With an educational background in mechanical engineering and a keen interest in electrical components, power generation has always been a natural fit for Adam's skillset & personal goals. When away from generators, Adam is elbows deep in cars, woodworking or books.

Mike has been in the Power-Gen Industry since 1994 and currently works out of our office in Coquitlam, BC. Mike enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters outside of work. He is an active coach for both of his daughters in basketball and softball. With a passion for mentoring, Mike spends his time teaching/coaching youth for a brighter future.

Greg Palloo
Regional Service Manager - Toronto
Greg Palloo encountered natural exposure to the Automotive & Heavy Equipment Industry from a young age through a very successful family business. Aside from completing Specialized Automotive and Performance Training, Greg further developed technical knowledge and expertise after studying Electromechanical Engineering Technology specializing in Robotics, Mechatronics and Automation. Business Development Manager - Northern Alberta
Anik is our Power Generation Sales Representative for the Edmonton region and northern Alberta. She has 10 years of Custom Manufacturing experience, including 6 years in the Power Generation industry. Anik initially started her power generation career in automatic transfer switch sales.
She has been involved in many small and large scale projects throughout the provinces of Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Outside work Anik is dedicated to her family, loves to be outdoors, garden, cook, travel, paint, skate.

Business Development Manager - Northern Alberta
Brian is a Red Seal Journeyman Electrician, with 15 years of experience on the industry's Electrical Contracting side, working almost exclusively in the commercial sector. Working his way from apprentice to foreman, Brian eventually became a Project Manager for one of Edmonton's largest Electrical Contractors.
While Brian didn't come to Custom Power Generation with much direct sales experience, his affinity for detail and passion for dealing with people led him to pursue the Business Development role he currently occupies. When Deano isn’t chasing power-gen deals, he is at the rink chasing his kids and pucks.

Warren works out of our Calgary A.B. office as Field Service Manager. In 1977, when Warren was only 14 years old, he gained hands-on experience with air-cooled engines working part-time in his fathers' shop. Following his humble beginnings, Warren began his work as a heavy-duty technician in 1989, specializing in farm equipment. 1992 was the start of Warren's career in power generation and industrial energies, and shortly after, he transitioned into service management in 1997.
Warren looks forward to camping, fishing and trips to Mexico with the love of his life of 26 years, his wife. When other time allows for leisure, Warren also enjoys fly fishing, hand-tying flies and woodworking.
